Small Firm Getting Big Returns On Investment
Bethesda-based Bristol Capitol Corp is a commercial real estate investment firm celebrating its 30th year in business this year. Led by president David Sislen on the right and princial Andy New on the left, the company has been buying and selling assets in the DMV and turning major profits. For example: in 2012, BCC bought a 23-acre BP Solar facility in Frederick, MD, for $3M. BCC demolished an old manufacturing facility on the site, split the site into four different parcels and sold it to MedImmune for $13.8M. In addition to trading properties, BCC also advises banks—like Bisnow partner EagleBank—developers and instiutions, advising on more than $1.5B in transactions over the years.
