Job: Land use and zoning practice, so focused on zoning entitlements, variances, zoning appeals, and tax assessment challenges in Fairfax and Loudoun counties.

Firm: 33 attorneys and land use planners; four offices in NoVa. Cases include large-scale mixed-use developments, corporate HQ of Fortune 500 companies and private-public partnerships.
Memorable project: Secured approval for Reston Town Center Partnership’s 23-story, 414k SF trophy class office tower. Responded to community and county concerns; resulted in positive changes to project’s architecture, layout and amenities.
Current project: Poland Hill, an in-fill “age in place” project in Loudoun with 219 homes and continuing care facility. Concept is seen as a legacy for owners of family farms and former hatchery. 
CRE career: Worked for two members of Fairfax Board of Supervisors and as a farmhand in Centreville. Both piqued interest in local government.
