Job: Oversee day to day operations of owned and managed real estate, and operations and strategy. 
Years on the job: 8.
Company: 105 employees in six offices manage and lease over 14M SF in 55 shopping centers and maintain over 100 active listings for retailers and restaurants. 
Memorable project: Skyland Town Center – mixed-use project in Ward 7 with 340k SF of retail and 480 residential units. Been involved since 2002 and won’t finish until 2018. Interesting, challenging, and rewarding project with fascinating capital structure.
Current project: Recent acquisitions of Dominion Valley Market Square, South Riding Market Square, CVS Tysons Corner, and WesTech Village Corner, and several more on the way for first half of year. 
First CRE job: Commercial property accountant with Buchanan Partners.
Grew up: Vienna.
Favorite childhood memory: Going to Tysons Corner (when it was a single level and nothing else was around) and going to Farrell’s Ice Cream and trying to conquer the infamous “Pig’s Trough.” 
Current home: Hamilton, Va.
School: Radford.
First job: Ditch digger in high school for a mason building brick walls. Started post-college career at PacifiCorp Capital in accounting group. 
Job in another life: Mountain bike coffee shop at the base of a cool mountain in Colorado. 
Daily habit: Start with Bulletproof Coffee, add grass-fed butter and MCT oil – provides energy and focus. 
Favorite apps: Kindle and Weather.
Favorite movie: The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King.
Favorite restaurant: Newly-renovated kitchen at home. Loves cooking with wife and getting ingredients from local farms.
Favorite music: U2 and Peter Gabriel.
Favorite vacation spot: Skiing at Beaver Creek, Colorado.
Guilty pleasure: A real martini with gin, shaken, not stirred.
Bucket list: Mountain bike in Moab, Utah. (Fulfilling that dream in May.)
Family: Married 18 years; daughter (13), son (9); spoiled dog and five fish. 
Hobbies: Mountain biking (ride with group weekly), skiing, recreational shooting, hunting, and fishing. 
Startling fact: Parents were shocked at plans to go to college rather than enter directly into a trade profession.
