EagleBank Finances Purchase, Renovation Of

Alexandria Building With Coworking And Retail

EagleBank provided an SBA 504 loan to Scott Shaw to finance the purchase and renovation of Founders Hall, a 15K SF multi-use building at 106 N Lee St., Alexandria. Located just off the Potomac River and steps away from King Street, this WWII-era government warehouse was given a complete make-over: a skylight and atrium were added to bring in light, along with floor to ceiling industrial windows. First floor tenants include South Block Juice, Vikriya Yoga and the 116 Collection, which features emerging fashion brands. The entire second floor is occupied by ALX Community, a new coworking community that provides private offices, shared and dedicated desk options, and high-tech conference rooms. ALX Community also hosts workshops for members and the general public in its Town Hall common area.
