EagleBank Funds Montgomery County
Affordable Housing Preservation
EagleBank has approved funding for VPC One and VPC Two Corp, both subsidiaries of the Housing Opportunities Commission of Montgomery County. Established in 1974, HOC is focused on responding to the County’s need to create affordable housing for working families and individuals who seek self sufficiency and a place to live in a county where housing costs are among the most expensive in the country. The EagleBank funds will be used to preserve affordability for a portfolio of 679 residential sites in Montgomery County – to include single family homes, town homes and apartment units. The homes are being renovated to like-new condition, consistent with current market standards.
