Trammell Crow Signs on to NoMa Mixed-Use Complex

Trammell Crow Co is doubling down on NoMa. A TCC subsidiary, High Street Residential, has partnered with the family that owns Central Armature Works at the corner of M and 3rd streets NE and plans to develop apartments, condos, retail and hotel on the two and a half-acre plot. Across the street from Douglas Development Uline Arena project and on the same block as the south NoMa Metro entrance, it's one of the few pieces of land so close to the Metro and Union Market that hadn't been controlled by a developer. High Street now plans to put the property through a PUD process to gain approval for three tall buildings and planned open space. CAR, still in business on the site as it has been for 25 years, will eventually close to make way for development. Chalk this project up as another new project for NoMa's third act
