Introducing F1RST: Grosvenor Americas' Capitol Riverfront Community

Today Grosvenor Americas unveiled its new 450k SF mixed-use community at the Capitol Riverfront. F1RST, developed in partnership with McCaffrey Interests and designed by Hickok Cole, will include 325 rental apartments, a 170-room Residence Inn by Marriott, and nearly 25k SF of retail, including Taylor Gourmet and Chop't on First Street SE. The community, which embraces the increasingly popular urban design of putting residents right in the middle of all the action, features a 5k SF gym and an outdoor rooftop theater with a view of Ballpark Square. The pet-friendly rooftop will also have a resort-style pool and cabanas. The idea behind the name F1RST is inspired by the community's desire to be a destination that connects people with amenities both inside the building and in the neighborhood. Grosvenor has 1.9M SF of office, retail, and hotel space in the DC Metro area.
