Comstock Purchasing Office Park Near Its Reston Station Site, Plans More Development

Comstock Partners is already building a 1.5M SF mixed-use project near the Wiehle-Reston East Metro station, dubbed Reston Station, and with a new purchase, it could be planning much more.

Comstock is close to purchasing the Sunset Hills Professional Park, a one-story office condo complex at 11321 Sunset Hills Road, above, RestonNow reports.

The developer has not released the details of its plans for the site, except to say it will include retail, residential and office components. It expects construction will begin in three to four years.

Just south of the Metro station, Vornado is working on a mixed-use development with 500 residential units, a 385k SF office building and a 175-room hotel. [RN]
