Plans Filed For 407-Unit Multifamily Project At Rosslyn's RCA Building
The owner, Weissberg Investment Corp., has filed plans to tear down the building and build a 24-story multifamily tower in its place, the Washington Business Journal reports.
The plans call for 407 multifamily units, both rental and for-sale, and 13K SF of ground-floor retail. The building's south wing would have 285 units and its north wing would have 122 units.
When the redevelopment was rumored back in September, Weissberg Corp.'s Nina Weissberg told Bisnow the owner plans to move forward with redevelopment as soon as market conditions allow. The decision to convert the building from office to residential is a move local officials have supported in the face of high office vacancy rates and strong multifamily demand.
