Freud May Like The Wharf's First Big Office Tenant

The Wharf has nabbed the American Psychiatric Association. When PN Hoffman and Madison Marquette open Phase 1 of their massive JV development in Q3 2017 at the Southwest Waterfront, the APA will occupy 63k SF at 800 Maine Ave SW, an 11-story, 220k SF project. The APA is currently HQ'd in Arlington, and the move was announced by Mayor Muriel Bowser yesterday in a "bottoming-out" ceremony at The Wharf, Hill Now reports. When complete, The Wharf will have 1,375 residential units, 945k SF of office space, three hotels, 335k SF of restaurant and retail space, a 6,000-seat theater, four public piers, and 10 acres of parks and open space.
