Newmark Grubb Knight Frank has hired a new executive managing director, who has worked on some of DC's biggest deals over the past year, to focus on DC-area tenant representation.

Bart Drummond, pictured above with his daughter Olivia, leaves his role as executive director with Cushman & Wakefield's tenant advisory group to join NGKF's DC office.

At C&W, he represented clients like Catalyst Health Solutions, Blackboard, Pentagon Federal Credit Union, EY (formerly Ernst & Young), Booz Allen Hamilton and the Washington Post.

“Bart brings an excellent track record of delivering results for his clients,” NGKF chairman Brendan Owen said in a release. “With extensive experience in public incentive negotiations and comprehensive multi-market transaction management, Drummond will be a beneficial negotiator, transaction manager and knowledgeable leader for the Washington, DC, office.”
