Nestio Raises Series A Round, Expanding to DC, Chicago, Miami

NYC-based Nestio, co-founded by Caren Maio in 2011, has raised $8M and is coming soon to DC, Boston, Chicago and Miami.

The platform lets landlords and brokers manage residential inventory, track leads and advertise listings, while communicating in real time with websites like Trulia and Zillow, TechCrunch reports. The company’s Series A funding was led by Trinity Ventures and previous investors Freestyle Capital, Joanne Wilson and TechStars. With the investment, Nestio plans to double its team in the next year.

Nestio anticipates a smooth launch in the new markets because its NYC clients already own properties there. The company is responsible for originating half of NYC’s rental listings, generating over $20M in additional revenue for clients. [TC]
