DC architect Tim Bakos left Perkins+Will three years ago to join Gensler, but he's returning to lead business operations and project delivery for the firm's DC office.

“We are fortunate to have Tim back," Perkins+Will's DC managing director Chris Morrison said in a release. "He possesses a unique blend of design skill and management experience that will serve our office—and our clients—well as we continue to grow in the region.”

As director of operations, Tim will work to grow the office's portfolio of office, multifamily and retail spaces. He began working at Perkins+Will in 2010 after coming from the Lessard Group, and in 2013, he joined Gensler as director of project delivery.

“Being at Perkins+Will is like coming home,” Tim said. “I am pleased to be back among so many familiar faces and to integrate our operations with our growth strategies for the region and beyond.”
