Clark Enterprises Names Jim Clark's Successor

Clark Enterprises COO and President Lawrence Nussdorf has been elected to replace longtime friend and confidant Jim Clark as CEO and chairman. EVP Robert J. Flanagan will replace Nussdorf as president and will also serve as treasurer. Both men have worked alongside the late Clark, who passed away two months ago, for more than two decades, the Washington Business Journal reports. Nussdorf (whom we snapped with Clark several years ago) joined Clark Enterprises in 1977 as CFO of its construction subsidiary, and became president of the parent company in 1998. He also serves on the board of Pepco Holdings Inc., which won him recognition as one of Washington Business Journal's Outstanding Directors in 2014. Clark and its affiliates are responsible for such projects as the World Bank's headquarters, Nationals Park and the Verizon Center. [WBJ]
