It's why the REIT is confident renovations it'll perform on 7900 Westpark Dr in Tysons (announced yesterday) should be attractive to tenants in the marketplace. Startinglater this year and complete by late 2014 or early 2015, work on the 540k SF, three-property complex will include a newglass curtain wall facade for its Tower building as well as renovation of the project's signature atrium. Rents are expected in the low- to mid-$40/SFrange, he says, and with its prominent location, the renovated space could be a good fit for a tenant "who wants an identity." (Or for anyone who finds old atrium's gauche.)
