Medallion Tops Off Ajax Rental Tower

Medallion Corp. on Monday topped off the first rental tower at Pat Bayly Square in Ajax, the first wave of Durham Region’s largest-ever mixed-use development. Dubbed Vision, the 25-storey building has 272 residential units and two floors of office. The project will have an ice skating rink that transforms into a reflective pool in summer. The three-phase development at Harwood Avenue and Bayly Street — billed as the gateway to downtown Ajax — will include 1,750 residential units at full build-out, as well as retail space, a new civic square and an events venue.
