Union Station has entered a new stage of its $800M revitalization.

The teams will be judged on "team composition, experience in collaborative project delivery, health and safety, and past project examples," an Infrastructure Ontario release said.

The finalist is expected to be named this summer and will be asked to submit a proposal and collaborate with Metrolinx and IO on its improvements.

The Union Station Revitalization Project has been ongoing since 2015 at the historic, century-old station, which sees 300,000 visitors each day. The project is a collaborative effort between the city ($640M), Ontario ($191M) and the federal government ($164M).
