United Bank has named Parker Harrington as its new SVP and commercial banker; he'll be based out of the Arlington office. Prior to joining United, Parker was with SunTrust Bank for 26 years as SVP and commercial relationship manager. Before that, he was a senior federal examiner with the Federal Home Loan Bank of Atlanta and a research assistant with the central banking division of the International Monetary Fund in Washington, DC.
