What's Next For Combatting Ireland's Housing Crisis? Find Out At Bisnow's 10 May Event

Ireland has been struggling to provide adequate affordable housing — a problem that has only been exacerbated by the pandemic. In Q4 2021, Daft, a property website, reported that rent prices throughout the country were up by 10%, with the average price for a unit totalling £1,524.

Investors and developers may view this as an opportunity to build more multifamily housing in the country, but before they commit to a site, they need to do their research to find out which areas people are most eager to call home, and how to make sure their projects can reach the Irish residents most in need of housing. Before putting down the funds, however, they may wonder which areas of Ireland residents will want to call home and how to coordinate regeneration projects to prioritize the people with the most need.

At Bisnow’s in-person event, Scaling Up Ireland’s Housing: Residential Update, on 10 May, attendees can learn more about the trends in Ireland’s residential sector and how CRE professionals can work together to approach the country’s housing shortage.
