Orchard Partners and Lionstone Investments are actively leasing 225K SF at their renovated Tasman Tech campus in Milpitas following the announcement of a recent lease and another underway.

The landlords recently secured a lease for 25K SF at 888 Tasman Drive with Advanced Energy Industries, which develops advanced power and control technologies for semiconductor and industrial customers.

Another 31K SF lease also is underway, according to the Silicon Valley Business Journal.

AE will move from its office in San Jose to the 47-acre Tasman Tech campus. The office will be on the first floor of a two-story building.

The campus still has space available for a flexible single tenant to take the entire 225K SF or multiple tenants with space starting at 11K SF. Building sizes range from 31K SF to 52K SF. The complex consists of 14 buildings totaling 609K SF.

Recent renovations include eco-friendly landscaping and signage and wayfinding around the exterior and the addition of bike parking, new restrooms with showers, large windows and providing creative office features such as 10-foot ceilings. The company plans to add a bike-share service and new food options.

Tasman Drive is between Interstate 880 and Coyote Creek and is next to a light-rail connection to a forthcoming Milpitas BART station, according to Orchard Partners Managing Partner Mike Biggar.

Cushman & Wakefield Executive Director Kevin Waldman and Managing Director Tom McGovern represented the tenant, and CBRE Senior Vice Presidents Bob Steinbock and Sherman Chan represented the landlord during the lease transaction.

Orchard Partners and Lionstone Investments acquired the office/R&D complex in 2014.
