Google's Latest Sunnyvale Acquisitions Now Total Over $1B

UPDATE, SEPT. 14, 11:50 A.M. PT: Google may add three more properties in Sunnyvale worth over $245M to its real estate portfolio, the San Francisco Business Times reports.

Google is making a big investment in Sunnyvale. It just completed a $318.7M deal to buy three properties from NetApp. This latest transaction brings Google’s total purchases in the area to over $1B, the Mercury News reports. Google purchased about 45 assets worth $800M in Sunnyvale's Moffett Park in July.

Google’s latest acquisition was for a 127K SF building at 495 East Java Drive, a 133K SF building at 475 East Java Drive and a 121K SF building at 1330 Geneva Drive. NetApp plans to lease back the space in one of the buildings from Google for a limited term.
