Seattle One Of The Top Cities For Football

Placeholder

The Seahawks might not be in the Super Bowl this year, but that doesn't mean Seattle isn't a football town, with all the economic stimulation that comes with it. According to a recent report by WalletHub, Seattle's the No. 6 city in the nation for football fans.

The company compared 244 U.S. cities with at least one college or professional football team across 17 key metrics. Its data set ranged from easily quantifiable items such as “number of NFL and college football teams” and “average ticket price for an NFL game” to the more intangible “fan friendliness.”

Coming in at No. 1 is Green Bay, with its cheesehead fanatics. Pittsburgh, New York, Dallas and Boston were next. Last on the list of 244? Davidson, N.C., home of the Davidson Wildcats.
