The Teachers Insurance and Annuity Association acquired the 77 Central apartment complex on Mercer Island for just over $96.3M. The seller, Seco Development, built the 171-unit property in 2009, which includes 14k SF of retail.

The deal is one of the region's largest apartment sales so far this year, the Puget Sound Business Journal reports. Seco is currently at work on an office development and a new hotel elsewhere in the region. [PSBJ]
