Seattle real estate tycoon Martin Selig (a frequent Bisnow speaker pictured here, center, at an event this summer) is being profiled in the Nov. 2 edition of Forbes as a New Billionaire.

The 78-year-old developer, who as a small child escaped Nazi Germany via Asia in 1939, has been building buildings for nearly six decades, mostly visibly the Columbia Center in the '80s.

Currently Martin's at work on more than 1.5M SF, and plans to build a glassy structure atop the Federal Reserve Building. [Forbes]
