Smith Tower's New Lease On Life

The Smith Tower, standing tall.

About a year ago, we wrote that the Smith Tower was Seattle's most eligible building. We're happy to report, courtesy of the folks at the Alliance for Pioneer Square, that while it was 80% vacant when acquired by CBRE affiliates last spring, Smith is now at 50% capacity. With a light rail station coming soon and views that are second to none, one of the most original buildings in the Seattle skyline seems like it has a bright future once again.

We want to know: Where does Seattle CRE go on vacay in the winter? Send us a picture of your latest trip, and we'll get you in free to our next event. Blythe.lawrence@bisnow.com.
