AP and city planning director Marshall Foster NAIOP november

Looking for some good CRE bedside reading? We'd recommend A-P Hurd's The Carbon Efficient City, published last year by UW Press. In collaboration with her father Al, Touchstone VP A-P writes that it is possible to implement policies that favor carbon emission reductions -- we just haven't done it yet, and where we have, it could have been done better. "Much of our existing regulatory environment stands in the way of achieving carbon efficiency because it is simply not aligned with this objective," she writes. Pick up a copy from Amazon, or do the carbon efficient thing and just ask A-P for a copy the next time you see her. Above, A-P snapped with city planning director Marshall Foster in October.
