Greening The Industry
Murray Greenwood of Paladino at The Seattle Art Museum.
Is it possible for someone in the sustainable development business to have a better name than Paladino's Murray Greenwood? Murray has made a career of teaching companies how it's possible to both save energy and increase productivity: "There is as much or more value to be had from the long-term behavior change of people in green buildings, than from energy, water and waste reduction," he tells us, and promises to spill more in a future issue. Paladino's big news this month: it just acquired Maryland-based S.D. Keppler, another green consulting firm, giving them greater reach into an east coast market hungry for greening. Paladino will keep its HQ in Seattle, with founder Tom Paladino serving as CEO, while Steve Keppler has been appointed president.
