The Latest Update to Facebook's HQ

Facebook is wasting no time moving on to the next project, having just released early plans for new office space next to its brand new “MPK 20" site (pictured). The company submitted plans last week for the big redo of the 58-acre site it bought last year from TE Connectivity. The plan is to construct two buildings totaling 985k SF as well as a 200-room hotel, according to the Silicon Valley Business Journal (the expansion was first reported by the Menlo Park Almanac). The social media giant is retaining the same starchitect it used for MPK 20: Gehry Partners. The company would demo the nine existing buildings on the site, and install bridges to connect buildings.
