Samaritan Medical Center Plans New Offices on San Jose Campus
The Samaritan Medical Center is planning to build an additional 475,250 SF of office space on its San Jose campus. Samaritan split the 13-acre site in two: a four-acre site at 2506 Samaritan Court, which will have two three-story medical office buildings totaling 115,250 SF, with parking garages; and a nine-acre development at 2577 Samaritan Dr that will have three six-story buildings, offering 360k SF of commercial and medical space, and a seven-story parking garage. The buildings will replace a one-story office building on Samaritan Court and 13 medical office buildings on Samaritan Drive. Samaritan is also looking to amend zoning on a portion of the site to allow for higher building heights. This is part of a 20-year master plan that Samaritan is proposing to replace aging buildings with larger state-of-the-art facilities.
