Highland Partners co-founder Debbi DiMaggio is among the top one percent of brokers across the US, and she was in town this week to dish advice at the VIP Service Philosophy at the Inman Connect SF Conference at the Hilton. She just co-authored The Art of Real Estate with husband/partner Adam Betta.

Her No. 1 tip? Treat everyone like a VIP, from the contractors (plumbers, painters, interior designers) to movie star clients. Debbi and her husband's client list reads like the credits of a Hollywood blockbuster: Julianne Moore, Sally Field, Hugh Grant, Ted Danson, Tom Arnold, and Macaulay Culkin.
