Modular-home builder Veev is among those to sublease space from Amazon as the e-commerce giant seeks to shed 10M SF of warehouses, taking more than 500K SF in Hayward, California.
Veev has grown quickly over the past two years, raising $400M in Series D funding in March of this year.
Amazon listed the Hayward property, at 2701 West Winston Ave., earlier this year, along with two other locations in San Leandro, that totaled 430K SF.
The Hayward transaction was first reported by the San Francisco Business Times.
Robert Ferraro and Chris Van Keulen of CBRE represented Veev on the transaction. The terms of the transaction were not disclosed. Veev plans to move into the space on July 1, according to the San Franciso Business Times.
Tom Damachino and Sam Higgins from KBC Advisors represented Amazon on the transaction.
