Here's Your Chance To Tell The City Your Thoughts On The Future Of S.F.'s Subway

San Francisco is soliciting feedback from city residents on plans for the subway’s future development by Sept. 2.
City planners are emphasizing subway expansion as part of their 50-year plan, called Connect SF for San Francisco’s Transportation, reports SocketSite. Residents will have a chance to voice concerns and share ideas with planners in a series of community collaboration meetings. Planners said the final recommendations from the city will reflect these conversations.
Transit-oriented development has become an important topic of discussion for real estate professionals in the Bay Area. New subway lines could lead to booms in neighborhoods traditionally left out of San Francisco's current economic upturn. [SS]
