The only major new condo project in Downtown SD since the last real estate cycle, Bosa Development’s new Pacific Gate mixed-use development at Pacific and Broadway in Downtown SD netted $90M in condo sales during the opening of private presales to interested buyers last weekend. The private presales offer buyers the best selection of units and pricing before the public presales campaign begins in May. The estimated completion date is in late 2017.

“The success of our private sales illustrates the demand for Super Prime residential living in Downtown San Diego,” says Bosa president Nat Bosa, “and we plan to deliver what residents are asking for: prime location, breathtaking views, iconic architecture, exquisite interior design, and amenities and services not currently offered in San Diego.” Designed by NY-based Kohn Pedersen Fox in collaboration with Chris Dikeakos Architects, the 41-story, five-star project includes 215 two- and three-bedroom units, priced at $1.1M to $2.8M, and 16k SF of retail.

East Village is currently the hottest market in the Downtown San Diego market. JMI Realty recently broke ground on Ballpark Village, a 3.2M SF mixed-use, master planned development on 7.1 acres in East Village. East Village also is home to the 93-acre I.D.E.A District, which includes Makers Quarter, the Fab LabDiscovery Academy, as well as Petco Park. The proposed Chargers Stadium-Convention Center project is planned on a site in East Village.
