A long-vacant former grocery store in Beaverton will soon be home to the first 99 Ranch Market store in Oregon. 99 Ranch Market is a major Asian grocery in a growth mode. Headquartered in California, the grocer has 42 locations in that state, Washington, Nevada, Texas and New Jersey.

MAJ Development Corp., which acquired the 43K SF Beaverton property last year, is renovating it in anticipation of the move in, Oregon Live reports.

The building was briefly home to Haggen, and before that a long-running Albertson's. As a 99 Ranch, the store will offer Asian canned goods, bulk foods and specialty products, as well as a large selection of produce, meat and seafood.
