Amazon Takes More Than 300k SF At Majestic Brookwood

Retail behemoth Amazon has leased 303k SF of industrial space in the Majestic Brookwood Business Park in Hillsboro for a new facility—a sortation center, where Amazon employees sort customer packages by ZIP code. Ground broke for the facility last April as part of the business park, the Portland Business Journal reports.

Majestic Brookwood Business Park is a 73-acre park just south of Highway 26 along Northwest Brookwood Parkway. The site has been owned by Majestic Realty Co, based in California, since it acquired the property from the Nike Foundation in 2014 for $15M. [PBJ]
