Tech Loves Tempe

Tempe continues to be a magnet for tech. In the latest tech-oriented deal, utility software company iFactor inked a 17k SF lease at the new Hayden Ferry 3 in Downtown Tempe.

The location gives employers access to the pool of talent associated with the largest public university in the country, ASU, which is only five minutes away, Savills Studley's Ryan Bartos tells us. The area also provides an "amenity-rich downtown vibe that the Millennial workforce is attracted to,” he says. Along with colleague Matthew Coxhead, Ryan repped iFactor; CBRE's Bryan Taute repped landlord Parkway Properties.

Ryan adds that the deal terms will help iFactor attract and retain talent, including a signage package and lease flexibility that accommodates future growth needs. The firm has grown over 38% this year and expects to grow an additional 45% within the next two years. Over the last 24 months, Ryan and Matthew have completed three transactions within the 265k SF Hayden Ferry 3.
