Micro-Unit Apartments Possible in Downtown Phoenix

Placeholder

Transwestern Commercial Real Estate is mulling development of a micro-unit apartment development in Downtown Phoenix, though for the moment the company has no comment about it.

The property would include about 210 units averaging 400 SF each near McKinley and Second streets (pictured is a micro-unit in Paris to illustrate the concept), reports the Phoenix Business Journal. At that size, the units would be roughly half the average size of many one-bedroom apartments in Phoenix.

The project would be on a vacant site near Angel's Trumpet Ale House. [PBJ]
