The City of Tempe is looking at four proposals to transform 20 acres to the west of the Tempe Center for the Arts into a biomedical or biotechnology campus, including bids from Ryan Cos and Conor Commercial Real Estate. A bid from Boyer Co in cooperation with SmithGroupJJR and Okland Construction is under consideration, and another from Liberty Property Trust with Westpace Development Corp and RSP is in the running, reports the Phoenix Business Journal. No timeframes for the project have been established by the city yet. [PBJ]
