WRT principal Nando Micale has been tapped to lead a group of 37 students from the Penn’s Graduate School of Design in examining four ports (Mumbai; LA/Long Branch; Oakland and Alameda, CA; and Cartagena de Indias, Colombia) to investigate the future of global waterfront cities. Nando is joined by three of his associates, Yogesh Saoji, Woo Kim and Garlen Capita in leading the students, who will visit their respective cities. WRT has a long history of waterfront planning and design, including Baltimore’s Inner Harbor and the Plan for Lower Manhattan, and more recently the Georgetown Waterfront and Dallas’ Trinity River projects.
