A feasibility study on Penn’s Landing estimates that $1.8B in economic activity could result from a $250M public investment, including a park on a cap over I-95 and a mix of residence and retail over its paved surfaces. Bart Blatstein and Eric Blumenfeld have both shown their interest with recent acquisitions of riverfront parcels in South Philly. The Navy Yard holds tons of potential for mixed-use communities on top of its continued jobs boom.
