One Riverside Clears Major Milestone Towards Completion

One Riverside, Dranoff Properties' in-development condominium complex on the Schuylkill River, poured the concrete on its 22nd and final floor on Monday.

The $112M building is scheduled to open to its first residents in spring 2017 after breaking ground a year ago (pictured above). Its Class-A condos average about $1k/SF. At the corner of 25th and Locust streets, the building sits at the entrance to the Schuylkill River Trail in the Fitler Square neighborhood. About 40 of the 68 units in the building have been purchased, according to Philly.com.

68 is a surprisingly small number of units for a 22-floor multifamily building, but the dual motives of a minimal footprint and intimacy for residents mean each floor will only have four to six units. [Philly]
