Archdiocese Of Philadelphia Plans Mixed-Use Development

Placeholder

The Archdiocese of Philadelphia is in the early stages of planning a mixed-use development in Logan Square.

The governing association of the Roman Catholic Church in the city had previously attempted to solicit development of the proposed site, a parking lot adjacent to Cathedral Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul on the Benjamin Franklin Parkway. Instead, they will attempt to develop the land themselves, the Philadelphia Inquirer reports.

The Archdiocese's proposal will go before the Logan Square Neighborhood Association on Oct. 24, and includes "possible residential towers." The project would be at 17th & Vine. [Philly]
