Anaheim Distributor Acquired By Gold Star Foods

Ontario's Gold Star Foods has acquired Anaheim's A&R Wholesale Distributors. The amount was undisclosed.
A&R Wholesale Distributors CEO Jeff Kuriel will remain in his post.
A&R Wholesale Distributors, at 1765 West Penhall Way, recently sent layoff notices to 106 employees. Gold Star Foods has offered more than 85 employees jobs at its facility in Ontario, the OC Register reports.
The company, which also does business as A&R Food Distributors, will remain in its 128K SF facility near Disneyland until moving into Gold Star’s in Ontario.
Gold Star Foods is owned by New York's Castle Harlan.
