ALS Ice Bucket Challenge!

Yesterday, our founder, Mark Bisnow, took the ALS ice bucket challenge, nominated by our good friends at Cardinal Bank.

Here's Mark with ice water being dumped on him by fellow Bisnow-ites Chris Wainwright and Scott Pacheco. For those of you asleep the last few days, the challenge has been spreading like wildfire, all for a good cause: finding a cure for ALS or Lou Gehrig’s disease. Once you’re nominated, you have to have a bucket of ice dumped on your head or donate $100, and then you get to nominate three other people. Over $23 million was raised in the last few days, with the likes of Mark Zuckerberg, Steven Spielberg, Jimmy Fallon, the New York Jets, all the guys from The Voice, Jeff Bezos, Oprah Winfrey, Justin Timberlake, LeBron James, and Lady Gaga. You can see all of them on youtube; here’s Bill Gates. Mark nominated the Post’s Katharine Weymouth, who accepted, Ted Leonsis, and David Rubenstein, who wrote back that he gave $10 million for the cause (!), so Mark nominated Jose Andres. Thanks to videographer Igor Dmitry for filming.
