Renderings Unveiled for White Flint High-Rise

Bethesda-based Saul Centers presented detailed plans for the first of its five planned buildings in the area at a meeting of the White Flint Implementation Advisory Committee.

The first building, referred to as Building A, will be located at 1001 Rockville Pike. The site is now home to a McDonald’s and directly across the street from an entrance to the White Flint Metro Station.

The building will reach 300 feet and include 330 apartments and 15k SF of ground-floor retail. Renderings show an outdoor dining area, which is separated from a bicycle path and wide sidewalk by a rectangular fountain. [Bethesda]
