The WINNERS Lacrosse program, a nonprofit that teaches the game of lacrosse to underserved kids in DC, features a who's who of DC real estate veterans on its board, including chairman Bruce Baschuk of the J Street Cos, Newmark Grubb Knight Frank's Brendan Owen, Transwestern's Caulley Derringer, and many others. And it appears they have brought the charitable ways of the DC real estate to WINNERS as well, as the org's executive director, Matt Breslin (left), tells us a recent golf outing sponsored by many DC real estate firms will raise about $195k for the program. Matt says the funds help keep the program free for the over 1,250 kids (ages 7-16) that enroll each year. Kudos!
