Wood Partners Plans 275-Unit Apartment Building for College Park

Atlanta-based Wood Partners has plans for a new 275-unit apartment building in College Park.

The building will be at 4700 Berwyn House Rd, adjacent to the campus and the M Square Research Park. Wood acquired the property from 7401 Realty LLC for $10M, the Washington Business Journal reports. Features of the community will include a tech lounge, a game room, a dog walk area and a secure garage. The project is expected to deliver in November 2017 and draw from a mix of faculty, families, professionals and students.

This is the latest of several projects recently announced for the red-hot College Park area. Earlier this month, a development team led by Ronald D. Paul Cos announced plans for a new 370-unit housing and retail community for 4301 River Rd. [WBJ]
