New Developments in the Pipeline for U Street Corridor

Some 1,496 units are in the pipeline for the area around U Street NW. Among these is the Meridian International Center redevelopment across from Meridian Hill Park. This project, developed by Streetscape Partners and Westbrook Partners, will include 140 residential units, designed by Shalom Baranes Associates, and have 90 parking spaces, Urban Turf reports. The luxury condos at Community Three's The Lumen (pictured) are also included. The one- and two-bedroom units are selling now, and scheduled to deliver in October.
