In February, Logan Circle's Barrel House Liquors moved into the storefront next door, leavings its recognizable barrel façade behind.

The barrel could soon be repurposed as the building's owner is proposing to develop a multifamily building on the site, UrbanTurf reports.

Eric Meyer, who owns the property at 1341 14th St, will present a plan later this week to turn the site into a seven-story, 35- to 40-unit residential building. He has brought on Bonstra Haresign Architects to design the project, which has to go through the local ANC and the Historic Preservation Review Board.
