Logan 13 is Breaking Ground

Work on the Holladay Corp.'s Logan 13 starts this week at the site of a former Mr. Wash carwash (above), Elevation DC reports. In fact, cars are clearly a favorite theme, with past projects including the 196-unit CarBarn in Capitol Hill and the Matrix, a 40-unit car dealership conversion. Logan 13 will have 67 residential units due in the summer of 2016.

Meanwhile, according to Urban Turf, nearby Columbia Heights may have a six-story residential development popping up at 1309-1315 Clifton St NW, one of the neighborhood’s highest points. The Aria Development Group project will house 160 to 170 market rate and affordable units in two six-story Cunningham/Quill Architects-designed buildings—one new and one renovated. But don’t get too excited. Plans have yet to be submitted to the Zoning Commission so we have a wait ahead of us.
